Any individual or corporate entity that meets the regulatory requirements set by SECP and PSX can open a brokerage account with UFSL. You must be 18 years or older with a valid CNIC/Passport.

A CDC (Central Depository Company) account is an electronic account used to hold shares/securities in dematerialized form. It functions similar to a bank account but for securities instead of cash.

You can open your account by downloading our account opening forms from the Investor Information page, completing them, and submitting them along with required documents to our office.

There is no minimum amount limit required for opening a brokerage account with UFSL. You can start investing with any amount you are comfortable with.

Yes, you can open an account and transfer your existing shares/securities to your UFSL account. Our team will guide you through the transfer process.

Your shares are held in a CDC sub-account in your name, and your cash is maintained in a separate trust account. These are regulated by SECP and independently audited.

08Are there any risks of investing in the stock market?

You can place transaction orders through our online trading terminal or by contacting your assigned dealer via phone or email during trading hours.

An online trading terminal is a software platform that allows you to buy and sell securities in real-time on the Pakistan Stock Exchange directly from your computer or mobile device.

 

Orders placed through our online terminal are routed directly to PSX, executed in real-time, and settled through NCCPL. The clearing and settlement typically follows a T+2 cycle.
Trading involves placing buy or sell orders through your broker, which are executed on the exchange based on market prices. The settlement occurs through NCCPL and CDC systems.

Yes, you can cancel unexecuted orders anytime during market hours through the trading terminal or by contacting your dealer.

Commission rates are determined by SECP regulations and may vary based on the type of transaction and volume. Please contact us for the current commission structure.

As per regulatory requirements, all payments must be made through proper banking channels. Cash transactions are not permitted for brokerage accounts.
